Behind the Central Station Amsterdam (CS) is the harbor "The IJ" where you can find several islands. The Venue is situated around the Java Eiland.
Ferries can bring you closer to the arear where the tall ships are laying or take a 10min walking from the Central Trainstation .

Sail 2015 vind wederom plaats in het IJgebied rond de Java eilanden en Amsterdam Noord waar een festivalterrein is. Na een wandeling van plm 10 min bevindt u zich in het Sailgebied.

The Tall Ships will be moored at the Piet-Heinkade wharfs, Java island and Amsterdam Noord. The sailing heritage fleet and smaller ships will be located around the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ concert hall, the Oosterdok area and at the Aquarena. The modern ships will be found on the north side of the KNSM island.
